This handy extension for NetSuite SuiteCommerce lets your customers sign up to receive email notifications when products they’re interested in become available again. Easily integrated into your Product Detail Pages (PDP), it adds a convenient button with a dropdown menu where customers can input their first name, last name, and email to stay updated on restocks. It’s a simple yet effective way to keep customers engaged and informed about your inventory.

How to Enable Back In Stock Notifications on a Product Details Page:

Enabling Back In Stock Notifications on your Product Detail Pages (PDP) is a straightforward process. First, ensure that your inventory items are configured with an appropriate out-of-stock behavior that is visible on the PDPs.

– Navigate to the item’s record and click “Edit”.

– In the “Webstore” section, find “Out of Stock Behavior”.

– Choose either “Allow back orders but display out-of-stock message” or “Disallow back orders but display out-of-stock message”.

– Click “Save” to update the item record.

That’s it! Now your customers will see a notification option when the item is out of stock, ensuring they can stay informed when it becomes available again.

Install the Stock Notification Bundle:

– The Stock Notifications bundles need to be installed and activated.

– Navigate to Customization > Suite Bundler > Search & Install Bundles.

– In the Keywords search bar, type in “SC Stock Notification” or “Back In Stock” and click ‘Search’ to surface the bundle.

– Click “SC Stock Notifications” when it appears in the bundle list.

– Install the Bundle! Refresh until its status is completed.

After that go to the Extension Manager and activate the Stock Notifications extension for your website.

Test the Bundle Functionality on the PDP:

Once you’ve finished configuring the bundle, you may want to test the functionality on the PDP to make sure everything is set up correctly.Navigate to a PDP for an out-of-stock product and check for the button you just configured.You should now see a button labeled with the custom message you set up in the bundle configuration. When you click the button, a form should appear where the customer can enter their contact details to be notified when the item is back in stock!

Here customers can enter their details , when the item is back in stock, the customer will receive an mail notification regarding this.

After the Customer subscribed for the Stock Notifications , he can see for which Items he had subscribed in the My account section, under Stock Notifications.
